At half past ten AM, we left the camping for our visit to Luxembourg city.

The Pont Adolphe in Luxembourg
After we parked the car in a underground parking and the motorbikes on the
pavement above the parking, we buy a coffee at a snackbar.

We wanted to visit the casemates (old nderground shelter for soldiers) in
the walls of the valley but because the casemates where closed for the
public, we went to the park in the valley.

It was a short visit to Luxembourg city and we were sorry we could not
visit the casemates but we had more to do today so we went to our car and
motorbikes and started riding in the direction of Trier in Germany.
Near Luxembourg airport, we stopped at a restaurant for French fries and
an icecream.

Enjoying our icecream
At half past two PM, we arrived in the German city Trier. We wanted to
park the car and the bikes in a parking garage but the bikes were not
allowed in so we parked them elsewhere.
We admired the Porches at a Porche dealer in the Porta Nigra and did
some shopping in the Simeonstrasse.

One of the shops we visited was a toyshop with almost everything you
could think of for a model train hobby.
Later we had a coca cola (3 Dmark for 0.4 liter cola) in a café.

Near the Porta Nigra, we saw a street artist drawing on the pavement and
musicians with a real monkey, organ, flute, guitar, trumpet. There was
an artist with an orchestra on cassette with a car cassette player with
two speaker boxes and a booster that were placed on a hand truck that
also had the car battery to power it.
After his performance, the musician sold and signed his records.
After a long walk in the city center of Trier, Paul bought us a nice
dinner in an Argentinian restaurant.

An Argentinian dinner
At a quarter past six we finished our dinner and left the restaurant.
it was dark already and the streets and the Porta Nigra looked beautiful
with all the lights in the street, in the shops and all around us.

We walked to the garage to pick up the car and the bikes and via
Wasserbillig we went in the direction of Echternach and then to
our camping in Larochette.
The last section of the road, one of my favorite roads, I was riding
up front and I realy enjoyed riding here, at night, with my high beam
on.
At eight o'clock PM we finaly made it to our mobile home.
