In the last week of May, I got in a Jumbojet from Schiphol Amsterdam
to Johannesburg in South Africa for a very special motorcycle trip.
It started all in Januari this year when I received an e-mail from Kevan who had seen
my Honda GoldWing page and reacted because he had a GoldWing himself. He wrote about a
trip to Namibia he was going to make and after a few e-mail we agreed it would be nice
to go on this trip together.
Then a lot had to be done. I was very happy that the most important part of a
motorcycle trip, the motorcycle, is taken care because my uncle offered
me the use of his Harley Lowrider. You can imagine that I'm very happy with that!
There was a lot to be done in the next few months but everything was done in time.
During the trip, I updated this pages with my travel report and pictures and when
my non-digital pictures were back, I added some more pictures.
