Just like last year, my Belgian brother-in-law Bruno and a group of his colleague's
wanted to make a tour in the Dutch province Zeeland.
In Juli, Bruno and I started to look for nice roads and we made a tour description for
the tour that we did with his collegue's on September 18, 2003.

Ready to leave for the tour
From their meeting point near Antwerp, eleven Belgian bikers drove to Holland,
to have a cup of Dutch coffee at my place before we left for the tour.
Because twelve bikes is a big group to drive, we decided to split up in two
groups, one group with the sportbikes like the Ducati's and some Japanese
sportsbikes with Bruno on his Ducati leading this group. The other group was
the tourriders group with mostly BMW's, a Harley Electra Glide and me on the
GoldWing leading this group.
We let the "racers" go first and then we left the parking behind my house to
drive some nice backroads from Brabant to Zeeland. Over the "Oesterdam", past many
modern windmills that generate electricity, we drove to Tholen on scenic roads
between green fields and nice farm buildings and some small villages.
On Tholen we first drove to Stavenisse. When we entered Stavenisse, we saw the
"racing" group, parked in front of the church.

We stopped too to check out why they stopped. They had some work to do on one of
the bikes but when we arrived it was already done so after a short break, we
started the bikes to continue out tour.
From Stavenisse we drove past st-Annaland to the Philipsdam. Next to the dam
is a watchtower with a great view over the dam, the bridges and a lot more.
